My Prophecy Flowers

I don't know if it's something superstitious or just co-incident but since I planted this day lilly (I think) I have noticed that when they are blooming I tend to get extra jobs like translation or interpretion or even a reprint of my Detox book. When I told Vasu (one of my closest freinds) about this, he was drooling and asked for the bulbs. The strangest things was early this year while I was in New Zealand, he emailed me saying that he was negotiating for a new and far better job and was planning to leave the railway. And hey, his lillies were also blooming for the first time!!!! Spooky heh? He is now in Lumpang, up north, and has, unsurprisingly, taken some bulbs with him.

Earlier this month I told all my clients that I shall take no more work unless necessary. Then my lilly was budding again after a couple of months. And I thought 'hmmmmm...where should more money coming from?' I had in fact turned down couples of interpretatin requests already. Then I was asked by Toyota's PR who is my 'Oh!- I-can't-say NO' client to do few pages now and then. When my lillies were in full blooms I counted the pages I had done......and it added up to 22....which meant over 500 dollar in total. Not bad heh?

I was at my parents' for the long weekend on the occasion of the King's Birthday, 5 December. Wandering around the house I found some astray cats that my mum sometimes feed. Aha! more photo op for me.This year we also decided to have a memerial service for my late grandma at the temple during this weekend so that we could be free at the New Year (FYI, she passed away in the last week of December) At the temple, there were several tinee weenee kitten running about and soaking up the soft ray of the sun. Such a cute little creature. So here is my pussy collection :)
