My New Love Affairs!

Photography has been my much loved past time since 1990 when I took up photography for my A-Level back in the UK. I started with nothing as the only camera I had was a simple compact one. Second-hand NIKON FE has been my companion since then. It has helped me seeing things from the very different perspective as many who have seen my pictures would testify. Not until recently though that I decided to get a digital camera (with some encouragement from Gordon) that I find photography is less expensive and more fun. My new Casio is very compact and light so I carry it with me everyday. Now walking round the house, office or even driving home offer me new experience. I started looking at patterns, lighting, shapes, colours in a new shade of light. Every stop at traffic light also grants me photo opportunity. See some samples for yourself.

But, hey this doesn't mean I would desert my old good fully manual NIKON for this newer, slicker, more chick and convenient Casio. I still plan to take my NIKON on a photo trip, not only for the old times' sake, but for the fun we could offer each other. I still love the air of anticipation when using films and the rest of it too.

And They Leaped......

After three hour boat trip under the beaming sun and much heat, I was exhausted and in need for FOOD again. So Naty and I went back to the floating eateries for some snacks. As the day was closing, there were more grown-up boys wondering about on the railway bridge nearby. And hey those boys were really a show-off gang as they climbed to the top of the bridge and gave us their best shot. I couldn't hold my excitement and moved across the raft to take pictures. Seeing me, they called out and gave me signals as when they would leap into the water or that there were boats coming, hence an intermission of their show. I was conversing with them and asked for a really good finale as my battery was running low.

After some negotiation, they agreed to a triplet jump! Super Cool Dude! I was cheering them as a result which they took in nicely. After the show, I couldn't help but giving my tokens of appreciation which would make a part of their monday pocket money.
